• A world population of 6.9 billion and an unreached people group population of 4.1 billion.
• 6651 unengaged unreached people groups around the world with 3484 of those groups not engaged by anyone.
• 259 million lost in North America.
• More than half the population of North Carolina not being Christians.

The answer is a resounding NO. So what are we doing about it? In addition to praying about it below is what we are doing to change this situation.


We financially support nearly 5,000 missionaries though International Mission Board monthly though the cooperative program, and annually though the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We financially support over 5,000 missionaries though the North American Mission Board monthly though the cooperative program, and annually though the Annie Armstrong Offering. We help with disaster relief efforts with the Baptist Men. Also we support the Baptist Children's Home of North Carolina though various activities throughout the year.


We work locally with the Pilot Mountain Baptist Association and Crisis Control Ministry. We have an outreach ministry to the Carolina Classic Fair workers each fall. We use our Edgewood Athletics program to reach children. Also we support the Baptist Children's Home of North Carolina though various activities throughout the year.
